I'm a calligrapher, educator, and creative spirit based in Jeonju, South Korea. I sharing my love of beautiful writing with beginners, creative spirits, and anyone looking to add a little more art to their lives. I offer in-person and online workshops, along with private sessions and custom commissions for special gifts and keepsakes.

Even as a kid, I was interested in coloured markers and different alphabets & styles of letters. Since 2019, I put those interests together to delve into the world of modern calligraphy. I’ve taken courses from talented calligraphy educators around the world, blending their techniques and developing my own style.

I enjoy working across many surfaces — from traditional paper (including Korean hanji) to wood, glass, ceramic, acrylic, and fabric — using tools like dip pens, brush pens, paint pens, and watercolours.

With a background in language education, I also love weaving a love of lettering into English learning, helping students connect creativity with confidence. I offer lessons in both English and Korean, creating a warm, welcoming space where everyone can discover the joy of calligraphy.

Lovely Letters began as a way for me to share the beauty, relaxation, and creative satisfaction that calligraphy has brought into my life — and I'd love to pass that joy on to you.
